Camp Information
QUALIFICATIONS
You must be an active member of USPSA, IDPA, SASS, OR at least 15 years of age with good handgun handling skills already. This is NOT a beginner's firearms safety class.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
1. Hat, eye and ear protection (for parents too), a reliable gun, holster, belt, 3+ magazine pouches, at least four working magazines, and 1500 rounds of loaded ammunition.
2. Appropriate clothing for the possible inclement October Georgia weather and a good pair of athletic shoes as you will be both standing and running. No offensive clothing or logos will be allowed. We will be the guests of the US Army. Aside from the fact that they have earned our sincere appreciation, as guest, we should treat our hosts with respect and courtesy.
TOTAL ESTIMATED CAMP COST PER JUNIOR
$250.00 for tuition. We are currently talking with other sponsors to further reduce the remaining balance.
1. Transportation to the Columbus, GA Holiday Inn, and ammunition shipping costs will be up to you. Be sure to check with your airlines as many are putting ammunition weight restrictions on baggage.
2. The Holiday Inn will provide a continental breakfast. Lunch will be catered and will cost you $8.00 per day. You can pack a lunch if you prefer. Dinner is your responsibility.
3. Any additional cost for sight seeing, car rental, visiting around the Columbus area, etc. will also be your responsibility.
DISCIPLINE
We are expecting all juniors to be exemplary citizens along with their parents or guardians. However, if any one of the Team Leaders has any issues with any junior that is not immediately resolved, the shooter and escorts will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund.
